200 Families of Selemak Village, Hamparan Perak Receives ATENSI Support

DELI SERDANG (11 September 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through Social Rehabilitation Center “Bahagia” Medan followed up on Letter number 064/PMDI/VIII/2021 dated August 26, 2021, on the request for rice assistance from Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang.

 

The handover of ATENSI assistance in the form of rice has been carried out in Selemak Village, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. Taking place on September 11, 2021, at the Darul Ihsan Modern Islamic Boarding School, as many as 200 families received 10 kilograms of rice.

 

The head of Training Center “Bahagia” Medan and his team immediately went down to provide the rice assistance. Also present at the handover of the rice assistance, M. Husni from Commission VIII of the House of Representatives, at the same time, symbolically handed over the rice assistance to one of the residents.

 

The handover of the rice assistance was attended by the Deli Serdang District Social Service, the Selemak Village Head, the Darul Ihsan Islamic Boarding School Board, and the Hamparan Perak Police.

 

"This rice assistance comes from the Ministry of Social Affairs’ budget," said Husni when handing over the symbolic assistance to one of the residents.

 

During the process of delivering assistance, every resident who came was informed to comply with health protocols by washing hands and wearing masks. To reduce queues, the procedure for taking ATENSI support is carried out at 4 (four) posts with each post containing 50 (fifty) lists of residents.

 

Serving as a companion, the team from the Center then accompanied each resident to sign the minutes of the handover of goods. The delivery took place from noon until 17.00 WIB.

 

When met, one of the beneficiaries of the assistance expressed his deep gratitude to the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia for being greatly helped by the assistance provided.

 

"Mrs. Risma, we, the people of Hamparan Perak District, thank you very much for the help, I hope you are always healthy and protected by God," said one of the recipients gratefully.
