Director General of Poverty Handling Review One of the Candidates for the Beneficiary Families of RS-RTLH Assistance
(25 July 2021) - Director General of
Poverty Handling (PFM), Asep Sasa Purnama together with the Acting Secretary of
the Karawang Regency Social Service, Danilaga, and the Head of the Karawang Post
Office, Fahdian Yunardi Hasibuan visited the house of Mrs. Aton Usih which is
located at Wanasepi Hamlet RT 004 RW 010 Tunggakjati Village, West Karawang
District, Karawang Regency, West Java Province. Mrs. Aton is one of the
Beneficiary Families (KPM) of the Cash Social Assistance Program (BST) in
Karawang Regency in the distribution period of May and June 2021.
During the visit, the Director General of PFM
and his team were welcomed by the Sub District Head of Tunggakjati, Farida
Heriyanti, Head of RW, Ismed Sulaeman, and Head of RT, Andri, as well as
companions from TKSK and PSM elements in the local area. Furthermore, Farida
said that Ms. Aton had also received Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) program
from the Bekasi “Budhi Dharma” Center.
To the Director General of PFM, Mrs. Aton
stated that currently, she lives alone in the house, without children, and her
husband also died decades ago. Meanwhile, for daily meals, they rely on selling
rice groats at a price of around 5,500 rupiahs and only get a profit of around
500 rupiah. Sometimes she also gets food from the head of the RW and residents.
Furthermore, in giving
directions, the Director General of PFM said that in addition to receiving cash
of Rp. 600,000 as a KPM for the BST Program, Mrs. Aton also received Social
Assistance for the Social Rehabilitation of Uninhabitable Houses (RS-RTLH) from
the Directorate General of Poverty Handling to repair the house for the amount of
Rp. 15,000,000. In addition, she also appealed to the facilitator that Mrs.
Aton is proposed to be the KPM for the Basic Food Program only. "If BST is
only temporary, while the Basic Food Program continues regularly, make Aton's
mother as the KPM of Basic Food Program," explained the Director General
