JAKARTA (December 2, 2020) - The Director General of Poverty Handling (PFM), Asep Sasa Purnama opened a Financial Accountability Verification Results Processing Meeting at a hotel in Jakarta.

In his direction, the Director General of PFM hopes that the performance of financial managers will always maintain togetherness and performance, considering that PFM holds the second largest budget in the Ministry of Social Affairs with a total budget of Rp80.5 trillion from Rp134 trillion. "I hope we can maintain this moment of togetherness to maintain the stability of our performance," said the Director General of PFM

The Director General of PFM explained that the realization achieved by the Ministry of Social Affairs was 96.7% and this is the highest realization among other Ministries with an average realization of 75%.

The increase in the realization rate is also a special spotlight from only 93% in 2019 to 96.4% in 2020 and almost reaching the realization target of 99.3%.

The Director General of PFM also conveyed directions from the Minister of Social Affairs, Juliari P. Batubara regarding the harmonization of aid recipients in order to restore the economic conditions of the underprivileged during this pandemic. "According to the direction of the Social Minister, we always harmonize so that people who have never received assistance can experience assistance through evaluating the data of beneficiaries in April," explained the Director General of PFM.

Of course, with a high realization, it will be clear that we have conveyed the mandate to distribute social assistance. With this meeting, the Director General of PFM hopes that an agreement can be reached.

At the end of his directive, the Director General of PFM said that he would coordinate with the Center for Data and Information of the Ministry of Social Affairs for the recipient index in January, this is in accordance with the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia. "We will coordinate with Data and Information Center (Pusdatin) regarding the index of recipients of aid so that at the beginning of the year the assistance can be given, according to the mandate from the President," said the Director General of PFM.

The activity was also attended by the Secretary of the Directorate General of PFM, Nurul Farijati, Head of the Finance Bureau, Mira Riyati Kurniasih, several representatives from Himbara, as well as representatives from other Work Units at the Ministry of Social Affairs.
