WAJO (1 September 2021) - The Ministry of Social
Affairs through Social Rehabilitation Center Pangurangi provided Social
Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) program to 119 families affected by flooding
in Wette Hamlet, Lautang Village, Wajo Regency, which were still submerged in
floods as high as 2 to 3 meters.
"To help flood
victims in Wajo Regency, Pangurangi Center prepared 120 aid packages containing
rice, instant noodles, cleaning tools, sardines, corned beef, eggs, cooking
oil, sugar and tea," said Awaluddin, Head of Administrative Affairs of Pangurangi
Center.

Social Service, Ahmad Jahran, said that several hamlets in Lautang Village are
currently still submerged in floods with a height of 2 to 3 meters, for Lautang
Hamlet itself 119 family heads are currently isolated and can
only rely on boats for the mobility of their citizens.
Ahmad appreciated the
Ministry of Social Affairs for moving quickly and reaching isolated areas in Lautang
Village, using the Pangurangi team boat to reach isolated residents from flooding and provide ATENSI assistance to residents who had not been
touched by aid.
