"Budhi Dharma" Center Provides Accessibility Assistance for the Elderly in Banjarnegara
BANJARNEGARA
(16 November 2021) — The Ministry of Social Affairs through Social
Rehabilitation Center “Budhi Dharma” continues the process of distributing
Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) support for the elderly. On Tuesday
(09/11/2021) the Social Division of Bank Mandiri KCP Banjarnegara visited the
Elderly Social Welfare Institution (LKS LU) Salam Abadi Indonesia Foundation to
symbolically hand over the Account Book and ATM of the ATENSI support program
from the Ministry of Social Affairs for 24 elderly.
In the
event, Idris expressed his hope that this assistance could be useful for the
beneficiaries. "The account opening process has run smoothly, hopefully
the elderly are also happy because they get this ATENSI support and it is
beneficial for all of them," said Idris.
In addition,
the Chairman of LKS LU Salam Abadi Indonesia Foundation expressed his gratitude
to Bank Mandiri for overseeing the account opening process and stated the
readiness of LKS LU Yayasan Salam Abadi Indonesia to oversee the process of
distributing aid to the hands of the elderly.
"We are
very grateful, God willing, this assistance will be a blessing for all of us,
institutions, our elderly, and also Bank Mandiri," said Wagino.
“We will
help with this aid following the previous assessment. Some of the
elderly receive accessibility assistance including visual aids in the form of
glasses and walking aids in the form of crutches,” he added.
Rohmini, one
of the elderly recipients of nutrition and accessibility assistance, expressed
her gratitude to the Ministry of Social Affairs, LKS LU, and Bank Mandiri for
assisting her.
"I am
Rohmini, thank the Ministry of Social Affairs, LKS LU Salam Abadi, and Bank
Mandiri. I get nutrition and crackers,” said Rohmini.
"With
these crutches, what used to be difficult for me is now easier," she
added.
