BATAM (April 18,
2022) - The Ministry of Social Affairs as a working partner of Commission
VIII of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) was present to accompany the
Working Visit of Commission VIII Recess for Session IV in the year 2021-2022.
The activity was held at Graha Kepri, Batam City, Riau Islands Province to
discuss policies, programs, and other various activities, as well as attend the
distribution of social assistance.
The Working Visit
was led by the Deputy Chair of the House Commission VIII Marwan Dasopang and
was attended by 11 Commission Members. In this activity, Commission VIII makes a dialogue, evaluates, and absorbs aspirations, hopes, and input from society.
In his remarks,
Marwan Dasopang responded to the SOTK (Organization Structure Working Procedure)
changes in MoSA and was expected to be able to carry out tasks more precisely
on target in the distribution of Social Assistance.
Marwan Dasopang also handed over ATENSI service worth a total of IDR 599,158,000 for the Riau
Archipelago Province, and assistance worth IDR 294,345,000 for beneficiaries in
Batam City consisting of ATENSI for Orphans, Fatherless and Motherless,
Accessibility Assistance, Basic Needs Assistance, and Entrepreneurship
assistance, as well as assistance handling natural disasters in the form of
buffer stock.
These various
ATENSI services are managed by several Technical Implementation Units (UPT)
belonging to MoSA, namely Pangudi Luhur Integrated Center, Prof. DR. Soeharso
Surakarta Integrated Center, and Abiseka Pekanbaru Center.
Yanto, a recipient
of basic needs ATENSI service who works as a scavenger, appreciates MoSA for
helping his family.
