Despite Being Told That There Will be Storm, Mrs. Risma is 'Stubborn' and Doesn't Want to Go Home
The handling of the flash flood disaster in NTT some time ago left an interesting story from the Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini. When she was at the disaster site, Mrs. Risma was informed by the Head of BMKG, Dwikorita Karnawati, that it was predicted that there would be a potential storm for aftershocks. Mrs. Risma was also advised to return to Jakarta immediately. In fact, the Head of BNPB at that time, Doni Monardo, also called directly and asked Mrs. Risma to immediately go home and leave NTT because it was feared that there would be bad weather and storms that would disrupt flight schedules.
Instead of following the notice, Mrs. Risma was 'stubborn' as she wanted to stay in NTT until her task of distributing basic needs for victims was completed. Because of God's power, the prediction of the next storm was wrong, even the weather in NTT at that time turned sunny.
