PURWAKARTA (24 July 2021) - The Director General of Poverty Handling (PFM), Asep Sasa Purnama together with the Head of the Purwakarta Regency Social Service, Asep Surya visited several electronic community services stalls (e-Warong) that distribute basic food programs in Purwakarta Regency.

 

In giving his direction, the Director General of PFM said that during the period of the implementation of the Public Activity Restrictions (PPKM), specifically for Beneficiary Families (KPM) of the Basic Food Program, received Funds for the Basic Food Program Assistance which was distributed through the Prosperous Family Card (KKS) for the amount of Rp 600 thousand to be distributed in August, and September. "Following the direction of the Minister, that the funds disbursed are for 3 months, and are given at the beginning," said the Director General of PFM.

 

Furthermore, the Director General of PFM also conveyed to the owners of the e-Warong that selling rice and eggs to KPM must be following the Highest Retail Price (HET) which has been set by the Trade and Industry Office of Purwakarta Regency. According to him, after seeing the price of eggs sold from several e-warongs, it turned out that the selling price was above the HET and it was considered quite high.

 

The Director General of PFM gave directions so that rice sold to KPM is not only based on 1 (one) supplier, so that KPM can choose the desired rice.

 

Furthermore, the Director General of PFM also said that the assistance could be used as well as possible by KPM to survive the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

On that occasion, the Director General of PFM and his entourage also visited the house of one of the KPM Sembako Program, namely Yati, who was in Sindangkasih Village, Jatiluhur District, Purwakarta Regency. He confirmed to Yati that the balance received was for distribution for 3 months at a time (July - September) in the amount of 600 thousand rupiahs.

 

In her statement, Yati said that currently only 1 (one) month ---July--- the aid has been disbursed because it is based on her current needs.

 

Also, present on the occasion were Junior Policy Analysts of the PFM Directorate Region I, Haruman Hendarsah, Head of Social Protection and Security Division, Rahayuwana Setiawan, Regional Coordinator (Korda) of Food Social Assistance in Purwakarta Regency, Aam Syamsiah, Subdistrict Social Welfare Personnel (TKSK) Jatiluhur, Sunarya, and representatives from Bank BNI Purwakarta Regency branch, Ruri.
