Director General of PFM: Program Synergy, Key to Building the Country
JAKARTA (November 10, 2020) - The Director General of Poverty Handling (PFM), Asep Sasa Purnama conveyed that the key to developing the country is program synergy. "We must synergize the program, the ministries must be unified, as well as the institutions, then the civil society component must also be the same, as well as the regional government," said the Director General of PFM at the North Bengkulu Regency Regional Apparatus Organization Assistance (OPD) event. (10/11).
The assistance activity organized by the Deputy for Human Development Policy Support and Development Equity, the Vice President's Secretariat was held at a hotel in Jakarta while still implementing the COVID-19 health protocol.
The Director General of PFM as one of the resource persons delivered a presentation on the Acceleration of Stunting Reduction through the Basic Food Program.
The Director General of PFM explained that the beneficiaries of the Basic Food program assistance can help fulfill nutrition in the First 1000 Days of Life (HPK) to prevent stunting. "Utilization of the basic food program by Family Beneficiaries (KPM) can help fulfill nutrition in the first 1.000 days of life, starting from pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and children aged 6 - 23 months," said the Director General of PFM.
Present on the occasion were the Deputy for Administration of the Vice President's Secretariat, Guntur Imam Nefianto, Acting. North Bengkulu Regent, Iskandar ZO, TP2AK Team, representatives from the Ministry of Home Affairs, representatives from Bappenas, and representatives from the Ministry of Health.
