Director General of PFM Witnesses the PoS Application Trial of PT Pos Indonesia
BANDUNG (March 6, 2021) – Director General of Poverty Handling (PFM), Asep Sasa Purnama accompanied by Director of PFM Region I, Said Mirza Pahlevi and Director of PFM Region II, I Wayan Wirawan attended PT Pos Indonesia's invitation to witness a trial of the Point of Sale application. Sales (PoS) developed by PT Pos Indonesia at the Bandung Post Office.
The meeting was attended by the Senior Vice President of Financial Services PT. Pos Indonesia, Haris, PIC of Cash Social Assistance (BST) Program PT. Pos Indonesia, Hendrasari, Head of Bandung Post Office, R. Bagus M. Yusuf, application development technical team, Bandung City TKSK, and KPM representatives from KUBE e-Warong Penyejuk Hati Bandung City. In this activity, a trial of the Point of Sales application was carried out to carry out transactions for the Basic Food (Sembako) Program at the Ministry of Social Affairs.
In giving his direction, the Director General of PFM said that the Highest Retail Price (HET) is needed in this application. "Development of this application will also make HET for each item sold from e-warong for the distribution of the Basic Food Program, so that there will be no spike in the price of basic necessities sold by e-warong," said the Director General of PFM.
In addition, the Director General of PFM also hopes that the application can increase the effectiveness of the Basic Food Program.
The Director of PFM Region I stated that he was very interested in and supported the application innovation developed by PT. Pos. "I really support the development of this application because it uses Point of Sales and validation uses the face recognition method".
