Director General of Social Rehabilitation Attends Technical Meeting of Candidate Commissioner of KND
JAKARTA
(August 16, 2021) - The Director General
of Social Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Harry Hikmat who is
also the Chairman of the Selection Committee for the National Commission for
Disabilities (KND) gave directions at the Technical Meeting for the Online
Quality Selection of Candidates for the KND Commissioner.
KND is an independent non-structural
institution based on Law Number 8 of 2016 on Persons with Disabilities. KND has
the task of carrying out monitoring, evaluation, and advocacy for the
implementation of respect, protection, and fulfillment of the rights of persons
with disabilities.
From 1,291 applicants for the selection of
candidates for the KND Commissioner, 169 people were declared to have passed
the administration. The applicant who is declared to have passed the Administrative
Selection must follow the next stage of selection, namely the Online Quality
Selection, consisting of an Objective Test through a Computer Assisted Test
(CAT) and writing a paper.
The Online Quality Selection will be held in
August 2021. The KND National Selection website can be accessed at
https://seleksiknd.kemensos.go.id. This website has been created in accordance
with the standards of the World Wide Web Consortium Web Accessibility
Initiative Standards, so that it can be easily accessed by persons with
disabilities.
This Technical Meeting was attended online by members of the KND Panel and Quality Selection Participants.
