Director General of Social Rehabilitation: Social Workers Develop Communities with Macro Practices
BANDUNG (February 4, 2020) -
Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Edi Suharto said that in community
development, as a Social Worker (Peksos) it is necessary to have macro
practices. This practice can be realized in the form of a needs analysis in
handling social problems and an analysis of local government. This was conveyed
by Edi Suharto in a public lecture for Bandung Social Welfare Polytechnic
(Poltekesos) students who will carry out practicum III in Majalengka Regency.
"There are
several macro practices that can be developed by students, namely policy
analysis, community management, community organizing as well as advocacy and
lobbying," said Edi Suharto. This macro practice will contribute more in
the direction of policies for handling social problems in Majalengka.
