Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation Organizes Improvement of Technical Human Resources for Social Counselors and Social Workers
BANDUNG (February 25th 2020) - Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Edi Suharto, opened and briefed the Capacity Building for Technical Human Resource Social Counselors and Social Workers in the Directorate of Social Rehabilitation for Social Tuna and Trafficking Victims which was held at the Amaroossa Hotel Bandung.
Edi Suharto explained about Progress 5.0. which responds to Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government, then Social Rehabilitation (Rehsos) now includes two approaches, namely basic Social Rehabilitation carried out by the Regional Government and advanced Social Rehabilitation which is the main function of the central government, namely the Ministry of Social Affairs.
Social workers and social counselors agents must master the PROGRES 5.0 platform in carrying out their duties at social rehabilitation centers and locales. "They need to understand and be able to apply the four components of Progres 5.0 intervention in a holistic, systematic and standardized manner. The five components include Assistance, Therapy, Social Care and Family Support," continued Edi.
