TANGERANG (August 21, 2020) - Sasak Village, Mauk Subdistrict, again distributed Cash Social Assistance (BST) period II through PT. Pos Indonesia, on Friday (21/8/2020).

According to the Chairperson of the Sasak Village Youth Organization who is also a Social Worker for the Sasak Village Community, Jumadi, that the distribution of BST is intended to help the community meet their daily food needs during the COVID-19 pandemic which does not necessarily end.

"This assistance serves as a Social Safety Net to reduce the economic burden due to the impact of the ongoing pandemic," said Jumadi.

Jumadi really appreciates the performance of Pos Indonesia for the distribution of BST in the previous stage which went well and smoothly. To note, the distribution of BST period I was completed last July. "With the support of the local government, local security apparatus and good coordination of all stakeholders, it is hoped that the process of distributing this Advanced Phase Assistance can run well, smoothly, and safely,"

When the Tangerang District Social Service and PKH Facilitators carried out the monitoring and evaluation of BST distribution, they advised that the process of distributing aid must comply with health protocols while maintaining distance and clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS). In this case, Pos Indonesia will distribute BST to 888 families.

Meanwhile, according to the staff of the Pos Indonesia Network and Financial Services, the assistance money given to each KPM of Rp. 300,000 per month is now given directly in 2 (two) stages.

Pos Indonesia itself is optimistic that this Advanced Stage of BST distribution can run well and completely according to the targets set by the Government. Pos Indonesia will continue to optimize its resources, increase service points, and extend service hours. In addition, it also expands cooperation with local communities.

In addition, Pos Indonesia is supported by reliable technology. So that the implementation of BST Submission can be reported to the government in a factual and transparent manner.
