Employees and Beneficiaries of the "Paramita" Center in Mataram Conduct Blood Donation Activities
LOMBOK BARAT (May
18, 2022) - Following up on
the direction of the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Harry
Hikmat, to all Heads of Centers to address the problem of increasing cases of
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in Indonesia.
The Paramita
Center in Mataram collaborated with the Indonesian Red Cross Blood Donor Unit
in West Lombok Regency to carry out blood donation activities.
The Blood Donation
activity was attended by employees and Social Welfare Service Recipients (PPKS) of Paramita
Center, PPKS with great enthusiasm to donate their blood for the first time.
Before donating
blood, PMI screened activity participants, starting by checking their HB,
blood pressure, and also interviews related to the drugs consumed in the last 3
days. Of the 29 blood donors, only 21 were able to donate blood according to
their body condition.
The Head of the
Paramitha Center, Ketut Supena, expressed his gratitude to the employees and
PPKS who were willing to become donors.
