Encouraging the Spirit of Beneficiaries, Minister of Social Affairs Visits Handayani Center
Jakarta (26 April 2022) - The Minister of Social Affairs
of the Republic of Indonesia, Tri Rismaharini, visited Handayani Center in
Jakarta on Tuesday (26/04/2022). Located at the Istiqomah Mosque in Handayani
Center, Risma conveyed her motivation to 103 multi-service Beneficiaries who
are undergoing residential social rehabilitation there.
Risma, who
was accompanied by the Director of Child Social Rehabilitation, Kanya Eka
Santi, and the Head of the Handayani Center, Anna Puspasari, gave gifts to the
three children who won the calligraphy writing competition in Pesantren Kilat
(short course in Islamic study) activity held by Handayani Center.
"Children
should not harm other people, my children should not give up, there should be
no surrender. Show the world that you exist, you can do it, you are left with
yourself, whether you want it or not," said Risma excitedly.
"H"
one of the beneficiaries/Victims of Drug Abuse expressed his gratitude to Social
Minister Risma for her presence. "May you always be healthy, all your problems
will be eased and be given happiness."
In closing, Risma conveyed a message to the beneficiaries, "I am your mother, so if you see that you are successful, I will be very proud. Never give up no matter how hard it is. You can change for the better", she said.
