Establishment of Disaster Preparedness Area (KSB) in Bitung City

In accordance with the direction of #SocialMinisterRisma, the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs continues to improve disaster preparedness in several regions in Indonesia. One of them is by adding two Disaster Alert Villages (KSB) in the North Sulawesi region, precisely in Girian Weru Satu Village, Girian District and Manembo-nembo Village, Matuari District, Bitung City, North Sulawesi.

Equipping communities in disaster-prone areas by establishing Disaster Alert Villages (KSB) is one of the preventive measures to prepare communities to be better able to manage vulnerabilities, threats, and risks in their own areas according to local potential.
