Explore the Potential of Agri Bahari Subang to Increase the Independence of KPM
SUBANG (April 3, 2021) - The Director General of Poverty Handling (PFM), Asep Sasa Purnama made a working visit to Subang Regency, West Java Province. The working visit was carried out in order to explore potential and find new solutions to deal with poverty and increase independence for family beneficiaries (KPM).
On the first visit, the Director General of PFM visited Pondok Quran Tahfidzquran to explore the potential in the area then continued with Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities. As conveyed by the Director General of PFM, it is hoped that the program that has been running in Subang can be an example and a solution to social problems in the community. "The potential in Subang's agri-nautical sector, I hope can provide benefits and synergies together for handling the poor," said the Director General of PFM.
The Director General of PFM also conveyed that the FGD was carried out to obtain information related to the maritime agri sector and to find solutions to increase the independence of KPM in Subang Regency.
Present on the occasion were Head of the Subang Social Office PFM Division, Saeful Arifin, Head of Subang Post Office, Dadang Hermawan, Head of Subang Fisheries Service Controlling Head, Janjan, Tahfidzpreneur Quran Board Manager, as well as several community leaders in several areas of Subang.
