CIBINONG (August 20, 2021) - Following up on a directive from the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Tri Rismaharini so that each Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) helps communities who are undergoing self-isolation to be given nutritious food in the form of boxed rice to fulfill nutritional intake.

With a quick response, Social Rehabilitation Center “Ciungwanara” immediately carried out an assessment to collect data on people living close to the Center who were undergoing self-isolation. From the results of the assessment, there are 15 people in Bogor Regency and 15 people in Bogor City who are undergoing self-isolation.

The rice box procurement is in collaboration with Ciwa Cafe, which cooks the boxed rice every day. The distribution of boxed rice begins on August 18, 2021. Every day, Ciungwanara prepares 30 rice boxes with different menus. The total number of boxed rice distributed up to August 20 was 90 boxed rice. These boxed rice were distributed by its employees and some were taken by the local Covid-19 task force.

This step was carried out immediately by the Head of the Bogor Ciungwanara Center, Siti Sari Rumayanti, so that people who were carrying out self-isolation did not bother preparing to eat.

"Although with a simple menu, we hope that this small assistance can help the community in fulfilling nutrition while undergoing self-isolation. God willing, we will provide this food intake until people who are confirmed to have Covid-19 are declared cured through a Swab Test or PCR. The mandate from the Ministry of Social Affairs We will implement this, especially in this case, the Minister of Social Affairs, to ease the burden on the people who have been confirmed to have COVID-19," said Sari.

One resident of Bogor Regency who received the boxed rice thanked the Ministry of Social Affairs through Ciungwanara for the attention.

"This attention means a lot to us who are undergoing self-isolation, when our body conditions are not fit to prepare a meal, there is a box of rice sent home, so we can immediately enjoy the boxed rice. Hopefully, all of your kindness will get a reply from God and hopefully this pandemic will end soon," concluded Mrs. "R".
