Social Minister Risma
said that the ATENSI program has begun to be distributed, one of which is
assistance for orphans, fatherless and motherless. "We get a lot of
complaints about it because their parents died due to Covid-19. We are still
trying to collect our budget and currently, 24 billion has been collected for
orphans, fatherless and motherless affected by Covid-19," said Social
Minister Risma.
The Ministry of Social
Affairs does not only provide support for orphans in the family but also those
in the Social Rehabilitation Center and at the Social Welfare Institutions
(LKS). The Ministry of Social Affairs is also preparing social rehabilitation
centers so that they can accommodate them (no one is taking care of them).
Data collection on
orphans, fatherless and motherless is carried out by the local government and
submitted to the Ministry of Social Affairs. "We hope that by the end of
this month the data will have been collected. We can immediately assist with the existing data," said Social Minister Risma.
A total of 3 orphans, fatherless
and motherless who were given ATENSI assistance were also motivated by Social
Minister Risma. "Don't be afraid, don't be inferiority, because there is
an Almighty God, so you are not alone. Everything in this world is just a
deposit, including parents. So we must be ready when the time comes to be
called by the Almighty," said Social Minister Risma.
