LUMAJANG REGENCY (April 12, 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs handed over compensation to five heirs of the victims who died due to the earthquake in Lumajang Regency of IDR 15 million each. The compensation was handed over directly to the Director General of Social Protection and Security (Linjamsos), Pepen Nazaruddin, representing the Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini at the Kaliuling Village Office, Tempursari, Lumajang, Monday afternoon (12/4).

On that occasion, the Director General of Social and Social Security also instructed the addition of evacuee tents in other severely affected locations, in Malang and Lumajang regencies, in order to reach out and ensure the community's needs were met. As of April 12, 2021, 534 families are affected, with details of 198 units of heavily damaged house, 251 units of moderately damaged house, and 85 units of lightly damaged house.
