JAKARTA (21 April 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs continues to improve the the Social Welfare Integrated Data (DTKS) to ensure that all data has single identity—Identity Number (NIK) that corresponds to population data managed by the Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration, Ministry of Home Affairs.

"The integrity of the DTKS had been restored in March and was established on 1 April 2021 through the Minister of Social Affairs Regulation No. 12 / HUK / 2021 so that it becomes the New DTKS," said Social Minister Tri Rismaharini in a press conference today (21/04).

In the future, New DTKS will be established at least every month to ensure its improving integrity while accommodating the social dynamics of the community. Currently, data on social assistance that have been distributed and or are still in process can be accessed through a web-based application at http://cekbansos.kemensos.go.id.

"Through this application, people can monitor recipients of social assistance from the Family Hope Program (PKH), Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) and Cash Social Aid (BST) by mentioning name and address," the Minister added.

The Social Minister hopes that this application can fulfill the rights of people on Public Information and increase the transparency of social assistance distribution. "The features and capacity of the cekbansos application will continue to be improved to meet the future needs as well as public input and expectations," he said.

The next feature development includes new proposals and rebuttals to the appropriateness of the new proposed social assistance recipients to go through a verification and validation process by the regional government in order to maintain data integrity. If there is a refutation, the Ministry of Social Affairs can invite universities to carry out the quality control process.

"The input of higher education will be a consideration for the Ministry of Social Affairs in deciding the appropriateness of participation in the social assistance program," said the Social Minister. Information related to social assistance organized by the Ministry of Social on PKH, BPNT and BST are provided on the official website of the Ministry of Social Affairs that is kemensos.go.id.
