BANDUNG (August 5, 2021) - The Ministry of Social
Affairs through Social Rehabilitation Center Wyata Guna Bandung received a
visit from CNN TV for coverage of public kitchens. Head of Section for Social Rehabilitation
Services at Wyata Guna Bandung, Annastasia Hustianti, Head of Section for
Social Protection for Disaster Victims, West Java Provincial Social Service,
Muhammad Nur, accompanied CNN TV for coverage of Public Kitchen activities at Wyata
Guna, which is currently receiving support from CT. Arsa Foundation.
The Wyata Guna Public
Kitchen is a collaboration of the Ministry of Social Affairs through the Wyata
Guna Bandung Center, the West Java Provincial Social Service, Disaster
Preparedness Cadets (Tagana) of Bandung City, Bandung Regency, and West
Bandung.
The Public Kitchen
provides ready-to-eat food and boiled eggs for residents affected by Covid-19.
The distribution is carried out including for health workers in hospitals,
residents in self-isolation, isolation post officers, and others. Every day no
less than 2,500 boxes of rice are distributed with a variety of menus.
This effort has received appreciation from various parties. Thank you from the beneficiaries accompanied by prayers that this pandemic will end soon.
