PANGKALPINANG (December 18, 2021) - Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini handed over assistance for Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) worth a total of Rp. 1,477,295,580 to Children, Persons with Disabilities, PLHIV, Elderly and Victims of Drug Abuse in Pangkal Pinang City, Bangka Belitung Province.

The handover of this assistance was carried out to coincide with the commemoration of the 2021 National Social Solidarity Day (HKSN). Social Minister Risma also invited all social workers under the Ministry of Social Affairs to join hands sincerely in helping others.

According to Risma, social tasks are not only mandated by the state but also by God Almighty.

"Here presents from the Ministry of Social Affairs, District Social Welfare Workers (TKSK), Social Rehabilitation Companions, Family Hope Program (PKH), Community Social Workers Association (IPSM), Disaster Preparedness Cadets (Tagana) who have been mingling with us all this time. carry out social tasks. What I want to convey to all of my friends, when we become someone who is trusted by God, we must be able to let go of our personal or group interests, for the benefit of the people. Never abuse our power because it will be accounted for, not only in this world but also in the hereafter," said Risma when giving directions in commemoration of the 2021 National Solidarity Day (HKSN) at the Pangkalpinang Mayor's Office House, Bangka Belitung Islands, Saturday, December 18, 2021.

Risma reiterated that we must find people who are in trouble, whoever they are, they must be assisted immediately as a form of solidarity. Moreover, Indonesia was built with a sense of loyalty, a very extraordinary struggle.

She gave an example, Indonesia used to consist of many kingdoms, but the kings with a sincere sense of sincerity wanted to give up their interests for the sake of our beloved country. Likewise with the heroes who are willing to sacrifice their time, the energy of mind, and even their lives for the sake of Indonesia.

"Let's keep this feeling so that we can turn it into an extraordinary force because in the future our enemy will be economic globalization, then we will face people from all over the world. Just imagine if we can't win it then we will be spectators in our country alone. If that happens, it means we are colonized again because we are nothing, we are as if we were just boarding houses in our own country," she explained.

Risma reminded us that the biggest enemies today are poverty and ignorance. However, if all parties join hands and work together, she is sure that these two things can be eradicated.

She asked social workers not to be silent when they saw other people or orphans who needed help.

Because if it's just silent maybe, God will be silent when we have problems.

"I hope that together we can join hands to solve social problems that are around us. We must care, even we are also obliged to give when the neighbors smell our food. Don't be silent because when we are silent when there is a problem, then God we will also be silent when we have problems. We give our best for the benefit of others, that is the essence of HKSN day, not only ceremonial, "she said.

Risma said that now there is a command center available so that social workers or companions will find it easier to carry out their duties to help others.

She also invited the media to participate in collecting rewards by spreading information if there were people who needed help.

"For example, the incident that happened to an orphan with bone tuberculosis, I received information from the media and immediately followed up. Helping others can be done by informing them without spending money.
