SUBANG (December 12, 2020) - The Director General of Poverty Handling (PFM), Asep Sasa Purnama coordinated the PFM program with PT Pos Indonesia. In the discussion, the Director General of PFM hopes that the Beneficiary Families (KPM) can be empowered and become independent.

"We want to deal with poverty, not only by providing assistance in the form of money or food assistance, but there is something more strategic, how can families who are still not prosperous or poor can be empowered and then become independent," said the Director General of PFM.

Furthermore, the Director General of PFM said that the Basic Food Program (formerly BPNT) and the Joint Business Group (KUBE) could be an empowerment for KPM. "Non-Cash Food Aid (Sembako Program) can gradually be managed by them (KPM) now in PFM there is a program called KUBE," said the Director General of PFM

Head of the Subang Post Office, Dadang Hermawan, said that the Post Office will prepare a place for KUBE e-warongs, one of which is at the Pasir Bungur Post Office. "Here (the Pasir Bungur Post Office) there is a place that the Ministry of Social Affairs may coordinate later to be used for cooperation," said the Head of the Subang Post Office.

At the end of the discussion, the Director General of PFM hoped that the program which was planned to be started in Subang could be an example for other regions. "Please support and pray, our declaration will start from this point (Subang) and so that it can expand to other areas, God willing, together and working together we can do it," concluded the Director General of PFM.

The discussion was held at the Pasir Bungur Post Office, Jl. Purwadadi No. 24, Pasir Bungur, Subang. Present on the occasion were the Head of the Subang Post Office, Dadang Harmawan, the Head of the Pasir Bungur Post Office, Dedi Suryadi, and social activist, Ganjar Waluya Putra.
