M. Husni, Member of Commission VIII DPR RI Appreciates MoSA in Delivering Assistance in Medan City
MEDAN (16 March 2022) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through Bahagia
Center of Medan together with Commission VIII of the House of Representatives (DPR
RI) conducted Monitoring and Evaluation in 3 (three) locations in North Sumatra
Province, namely Medan City, Tebing Tinggi City, and Serdang Bedagai Regency
for 2 (two) days from March 15 to March 16, 2022.
In this activity, the ATENSI, PKH, and Basic Food
Program were handed over symbolically by the Member of Commission VIII DPR RI,
M.Husni. The total value of the social assistance referred to is Rp.
121,496,527,000, - for 182,587 Beneficiaries in Medan City, Tebing Tinggi City,
and Serdang Bedagai Regency.
The Ministry of Social Affairs' ATENSI Program
through the Bahagia Center was distributed to 204 Beneficiaries (PM) with total assistance of Rp 215,702,000 consisting of Orphans, Fatherless, and Motherless
whose parents died due to Covid-19 which were handed over to 198 PM with total
assistance of Rp 119,700,000,- Entrepreneurship assistance for 2 PM with total
assistance of Rp 61,902,000,- Accessibility Support/Assistance for 4 PM with
total assistance of Rp 34.100.000,-
M. Husni, Member of Commission VIII of the DPR RI
had mentioned the flood disaster that occurred in Medan some time ago and gave
his appreciation to the Ministry of Social Affairs. No more than 1x24 hours,
the Ministry of Social Affairs through Bahagia Center immediately arrived at
the flood disaster location and assisted the affected community.
In addition, M. Husni said that the community is
encouraged to make good use of any social assistance provided following its designation. So that the program objectives can be achieved and
provide benefits for the community.
JM (43) one of the residents who received the
wheelchair assistance expressed his gratitude after receiving the assistance.
"I can move now, thank God," he said emotionally.
