Get to know the Asean-Indo Pacific Forum (AIPF)

AIPF was held as a concrete implementation of the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP) which ASEAN member countries adopted in 2019. AOIP is an initiative aimed at strengthening an inclusive regional architecture. AOIP is also intended to encourage collaboration rather than rivalry, strengthen win-win cooperation and capture opportunities that exist in the Indo-Pacific region.

AIPF is expected to make the Indo-Pacific region a more closely integrated and interconnected region, through inclusive collaboration. So that in turn, it can contribute to peace, security, stability and prosperity in the region.

This forum is an important opportunity for Indonesia, in particular, as well as for other ASEAN countries and the Indo-Pacific to unite and map out a direction for cooperation and inclusive growth in the future.
