Minister of Social Affairs Directly Observes the Location of Floods and Landslides in Central Java

Since the disaster struck in Central Java, the Ministry of Social Affairs through Tagana has coordinated with the Social Service in the affected areas. To meet the basic needs of flood survivors, Tagana and the Social Service have established a public kitchen to prepare ready-to-eat meals.

The deployment of Tagana was also to evacuate victims by providing shelter, public kitchen services and psychosocial support services. Social Minister Risma inspected the landslide spot in Jomblang RT 03/01, Jomblang Village, Candi Sari District, Semarang City. He also visited the location of the flood disaster and the soup kitchen in Tlogosari Semarang.

Risma interacted with community members and received information about the conditions they were experiencing. Risma also ensured that logistical needs in the form of food were sufficient for the survivors' needs.
