BANDUNG (4 July 2020) - After visiting Katapang Village, the Minister of Social Affairs, Juliato P Batubara visited the Sekarwangi Village Office in Soreang District, Bandung Regency. The Minister of Social Affairs immediately greeted the beneficiaries. Today, stage 3 disbursement was scheduled for 124 KPM.

As a form of beneficiaries’ data transparancy, the Village Head of Sekarwangi, Ridwannulloh placed lists of social assistance recipients including BST (Social Cash Aid) beneficiaries’ list on a notice board in front of the village hall. The disbursement took place in an orderly manner at the Sekarwangi Village Hall.

To monitor the performance of village officials in data collection for BST distribution and other social assistance, the Minister of Social Affairs visited the Sekarwangi Village Puskessos room right next to the Sekarwangi Village Hall and had a dialogue with the Puskesos officers who were present.

The delegation of the Minister of Social Affairs then headed to the last point at the Bandung Post Office which is located on Jalan Asia Afrika. The delegation was welcomed by Yudha Pribadi as the Head of the Bandung Post Office.

The Bandung Post Office scheduled 617 beneficiaris in Phase III BST disbursement. The disbursement that had been carried out since morning was 277 beneficiaries from Babakan Ciamis Village, 114 beneficiaries from Braga Village, 174 beneficiaries from Pisang Village, and 52 beneficiaries from Merdeka Village.

In his briefing in front of the Director of Network and Financial Services of PT Pos Indonesia, Ihwan Sutardiyanta and the Minister of Social Affairs said that BST is a form of state care for its citizens.

"The state is definitely here to help the community. The President of the Republic of Indonesia has reminded ministers and regional heads to focus and seriously handle COVID-19. Not only in the health sector, "he stressed.

The Minister of Social Affairs hoped that the pandemic will end soon. However, he reminded the public should obey health protocols. Before leaving the location, the Minister of Social Affairs reviewed the room that was planned to be the place for the KUBE Mart, a form of cooperation with PT Pos Indonesia.
