SOPPENG (August 31, 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through Social Rehabilitation Center “Pangurangi” Takalar provides Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) service to the victims affected by floods in Soppeng Regency.

Head of the Social Rehabilitation Division of Soppeng Regency, Sudarma said that the flood disaster in Soppeng Regency had an impact on 5 sub-districts, namely Marioriawa District 860 families, Donri Donri District 975 families, Ganra District 987 families, Citta District 567 families, Lilirilau District 1,397 families, with height at each location varied between 30 cm - 130 cm.

The head of the Pangurangi Center, Pengalamen Surbakti said, to help flood victims in Soppeng Regency, the Center prepared 120 ATENSI assistance packages to meet basic needs which contained rice, instant noodles, cleaning equipment, sardines, corned beef, eggs, cooking oil, sugar, and tea.

The distribution of aid for flood victims was accompanied by the Head of the Social Rehabilitation Division of the Soppeng Regency Social Service, the Head of the Macanre Village and the Head of the Macanre Community Welfare Section, to avoid aid that was not right on target or residents who received double assistance.
