Ministry of Social Affairs Builds Synergy in Handling "NF"
JAKARTA (17 May 2020) – The handling of the "NF" case is still continuing. Today the Children's Center "Handayani" received another visit from the Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Harry Hikmat with the Chairperson of the Indonesian Child Protection Agency (LPAI), Seto Mulyadi and the Deputy for Child Protection of the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (KPPPA), Nahar accompanied by the Head of Balai Social Rehabilitation of Children Needing Special Protection (BRSAMPK) "Handayani", Neneng Heryani and Social Workers and Psychologists in order to provide motivation for "NF".
In this meeting, "NF" expressed his hope that he could remain at the "Handayani" Jakarta Children's Center in undergoing the legal process. He wants to be able to develop his painting potential and wants to try to improve himself.
The current "NF" condition is calmer and more stable. Starting to appear confidence from "NF" to achieve a brighter future. "NF" is also able to more fluently tell stories about her life experiences and things she likes. The meeting took place fluidly and was interspersed with jokes. "NF" also expressed regret for his behavior in the past.
"You must be enthusiastic and remain optimistic, yes, we will definitely support the legal process that you have to go through," said Harry to "NF".
Harry, Seto, and Nahar provided a lot of advice and motivation so that "NF" can continue to be excited about life. The next step, Harry will continue to ensure the protection and assistance of social advocacy, especially in fulfilling the rights and needs of "NF" as a child.
