Ministry of Social Affairs Distributes Community-Based ATENSI Assistance in Ternate City

TERNATE (2 September 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through the Social Rehabilitation Center for Persons Living with HIV/AIDS 'Wasana Bahagia' in Ternate distributed Community-based Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) program.

The assistance was handed over to beneficiaries of the four clusters affected by Covid-19, namely children, the elderly, people with disabilities, and people with HIV (PLWH) through the LKS, the partners of the Center.

ATENSI assistance as much as 200 additional nutritional packages worth Rp. 117,500,000 were handed over to the LKS consisting of the Kimalaha Kie Segam Foundation, the Multipurpose LKP, the At Taqwa Foundation, the Nurul Fajri Foundation, the Alyatama Foundation and the Nyinga Rimoi LKS.

Ikram A Rachman as the Head of the Administration Sub-Section said that this activity began with the implementation of an assessment by social workers to LKS and potential beneficiaries. "The delivery of ATENSI assistance is expected to be able to help other people, especially during the current pandemic," said Ikram.

The nutritional packages distributed consist of Dancow Milk, green beans, cooking oil, rice, instant coconut milk, granulated sugar, brown sugar, toothpaste, bath soap, laundry soap and biscuits.
