Ministry of Social Affairs Hands Over ATENSI Support for Tan Djung Hong
SURABAYA (26
October 2021) - Following the direction of the Minister of
Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini, Social Rehabilitation Center "Prof. Dr.
Soeharso" Surakarta handed over Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) support
to Tan Djung Hong in the form of a modified three-wheeled motorcycle and
entrepreneurship assistance for selling bag.
The delivery
of this assistance is a follow-up to the results of the case response
assessment that was carried out on August 20, 2021, against Tan Djung Hong in
the city of Surabaya. The provision of this assistance is expected to
facilitate the accessibility of those concerned to take their children with
intellectual disabilities and their mothers under control to the hospital.
Besides
that, it is also to improve the family's economy, so that they do not depend on
their extended family for their lives.
The handover
of this assistance was carried out by the Head of the Surakarta "Prof. Dr.
Soeharso" Center, Juena Br. Sitepu, accompanied by officers from the
Provincial and City of Surabaya Social Services.
At the
handing over of the aid, the Head of "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Center Surakarta
motivated Tan Djung Hong to make the best use of the aid and was expected to
expand his business selling mobile bags.
After the
donation was finished, it was followed by an audience with the Surabaya City
Social Office, which was accepted by Pitser as Acting Head of Social Service to
assist Tan Djung Hong.
