PATI (October 7, 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through the Social Rehabilitation Center (BRSPDM) Margo Laras Pati reunifies the Persons with Mental Disabilities (PDM) from East Nusa Tenggara as many as 2 (two) people who have completed the Social Rehabilitation Assistance program starting March 30, 2021, until October 6, 2021 (for 6 months) on Thursday (7/10)

 

The Beneficiaries (PM) of BRSPDM Margo Laras Pati have originally referred from Social Complex Housing of Surabaya 6 months ago.

 

While at BRSPDM Margo Laras Pati, PM received basic needs fulfillment, physical, mental, spiritual, and psychosocial therapy, mental health services as well as vocational training and entrepreneurship coaching. In addition, the strengthening of PM's family is also carried out so that when PM returns home they can run their social functioning.

 

The head of BRSPDM Margo Laras Pati, Jiwaningsih, explained that the PM was fit to be sent home to his family, because their psychological condition was stable, although at first, they could not remember where they came from, we hope that after returning to their families they will work in their original place, develop goat farming provided.

 

In the process of returning PM to NTT, accompanied by 4 (four) BRSPDM officers, Margo Laras Pati, including Social Workers and Nurses, they used air transportation and continued a road trip until they arrived at PM's house. Before the PM and officers depart, a PCR test will be carried out first as a condition for airworthiness.

 

We coordinated with the Social Service Office of NTT and Social Rehabilitation Center “Effata” Kupang, followed by handing over the PM to the family, they welcomed the PMs, Yupris and Andreanus Neno's condition was cooperative and healthy during the trip, said Yasin Pramono Adi, AAS Coordinator.
