CIREBON (January 16th 2020) - Starting 2020, the Bandung Social Welfare Polytechnic (Poltekesos) will carry out the Internal Management Coordination (Komin) activity.

The momentum of this activity is to start activities in 2020 in an integrated manner between all components at the Bandung Social Welfare Polytechnic.

"The agenda in this activity is also in the context of a follow-up to the visit of Social Minister Juliari P. Batubara to the Poltekesos," said the Director of the Social Welfare Polytechnic, Marzuki at the Luxton Hotel Cirebon.

In the future, the Minister of Social Affairs wants a nursery pattern from the development of the Social Welfare Polytechnic campus. "The Minister of Social Affairs wants the Bandung Social Welfare Polytechnic to become an official school," he added

In the preparation of the nursery for admission of the Bandung Social Welfare Polytechnic, the Social Welfare Polytechnic organized a Panel Discussion which presented several speakers from the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos).

The issuance of Law No. 14/2019 is an acknowledgment of the social work profession. As a consequence, said the said the Director of the Social Welfare Polytechnic, a means of training for the profession is needed, in this case a representative campus.

Previously, the Minister of Social Affairs said, "Developing the concept of education with an official bond pattern will increase the Ministry of Social Affairs' bargaining position in front of all Provincial or Regency / City Governments".

"In the future, if the Social Welfare Polytechnic becomes the concept of official ties, in addition to the regular (general) education pattern, the Social Welfare Polytechnic will be the target of continuing education for high school seniors, because they will immediately work within the Ministry of Social Affairs," he said.

Present as speakers on this occasion were Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Edi Suharto, Director General of social empowerment Papan Nazarudin, Senior Advisor of the Minister (SAM) for Social Change and Dynamics, Asep Sasa Purnama, Senior Advisor to the Minister for Social Accessibility Sonny W. Manalu, Inspector General Dadang Iskandar, Head Planning Bureau Adhy Karyono and Secretary of BP3S Harapan Lumban Gaol.

A total of 183 participants attended this activity. Participants are educators and educational staff at the Bandung Social Welfare Polytechnic.
