Monitoring BST in Tangerang City, Director General of PFM Ensures KPM Receives Their Rights
TANGERANG (January 10, 2021) - Director General for Handling the Poor (Directorate General of PFM) Asep Sasa Purnama monitored the implementation of Cash Social Assistance (BST) in Tangerang City. The locations visited for the distribution of BST in Tangerang City were SDN Cipondoh 1, 2, 8 and SDN Gondrong 7, Cipondoh District, Tangerang City. "The channel (BST) is carried out on a community basis, carried out in elementary schools, so that this health protocol is well maintained, maintaining distance and following the collection schedule is very good," said the Director General of PFM.
The visit was made to ensure that the Family Beneficiaries (KPM) really get their rights, where the cash social assistance (BST) provided is IDR 300,000/KPM/month. "Hopefully, with the assistance, it can improve the ability of all of you to meet your daily needs," said the Director General of PFM.
The Director General of PFM stated that this assistance must be utilized as well as possible, especially for basic needs. In addition, the aid may not be used to buy cigarettes, liquor, and other items that are not useful. "Make the best use of this assistance, especially for basic needs, please don't buy cigarettes, liquor, and other useless items," said the Director General of PFM.
The visit of the Director General of PFM was accompanied by the Secretary of the Tangerang City, Herman Suwarman, the Head of the Tangerang City Social Service, Suli Rosadi, the Cipondoh Sub-district Head, R. Rizal Ridolloh, the Head of the Tangerang City Post Office, Muhammad Sarip, and the Head of the Sub-Directorate of Stimulant Assistance and Environmental Management of the Region II PFM Directorate, Etty Rahmiyati.
