KUTAI BARAT (July 26, 2021) - The Ministry of
Social Affairs through Budi Luhur Center of Banjarbaru provides Social
Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) services to Vino, a 10-year-old boy whose
both parents have died of Covid-19 in Kampung Linggang Purworejo, Tering
District, West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province.
Vino, who has currently
been in self-isolation for 10 days, has tested negative for Covid-19 after the
PCR results were carried out on Sunday, July 25, 2021.
Head of Budi Luhur, Herry
Pawoko explained that Budi Luhur Emergency Response Team, consisting of 4
people consisting of Social Workers and Social Counselors, directly coordinated
with the West Kutai District Social Service, Lingiram Koramil and Lingiram
Police. "This is a form of concern and cooperation from all parties for
Vino," said Herry.
Yan Heriyanto, Head of
Social Rehabilitation, West Kutai Social Service, is very grateful to the Ministry
of Social Affairs and Budi Luhur Center for the attention given to Vino.
"Thank you Budi Luhur for the help," said Yan.
Budi Luhur Center provides
ATENSI social services in the form of providing additional nutrition assistance
and food for Vino's family who care for him.
Meanwhile, the West Kutai
Regency Social Service provided compensation in the form of cash. Residents
also paid attention by collecting 10 million rupiahs for Vino, as well as donors
obtained from social media.
