INDRAGIRI
HULU (13 November 2021) - The Ministry of Social
Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia through Social Rehabilitation Center “Abiseka”
Pekanbaru distributed Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) support to 120
beneficiaries in Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province.
The
beneficiaries consist of 100 people with disabilities and 20 elderly who have
been verified, validated, and assessed by social workers and local social
rehabilitation assistants.
The ATENSI support
provided was in the form of 120 nutrition packages, 120 family kits, 5 standard
wheelchairs, 6 3-in-1 wheelchairs, 4 children's wheelchairs, 1 special
wheelchair for cerebral palsy, 15 units of 3 leg sticks, 7 units 3 walking
sticks, 7 hand crutches, and 3 walkers with a total amount of assistance
reaching Rp. 190,250,000.
The delivery
of this assistance is a follow-up to an assessment of the data
proposed by the Social Office of Indragiri Hulu Regency. The beneficiaries are
spread over 10 sub-districts, such as Rengat, West Rengat, Pasir Turtle,
Seberida, Batang Gansal, Lyrics, Lala River, Lubuk Batu Jaya, Rakit Kulim, and
Kelayang sub-districts.
The
distribution of aid was carried out at the Social Office of Indragiri Hulu
Regency and several village offices. The officers also distributed home visits
accompanied by the Social Office, Social Rehabilitation Facilitator, and local
TKSK.
The Head of
the Center, Ahmad Subarkah, who in this case was represented by a Social
Counselor, said, “The ATENSI from Abiseka Pekanbaru is a form of the Ministry
of Social Affairs being present amid the community, present to
provide benefits and the impact can be felt directly by the community.
Hopefully, this assistance can be useful and can help you in meeting your daily
needs. We also hope that the tools we provide can help the daily activities of
parents," said Ahmad Subarkah.
The Head of
the Social Service of Indragiri Hulu Regency, expressed hope to the recipients
of assistance to take advantage of the assistance that has been given,
"Whatever the assistance, we can be grateful. We also send greetings to
the leadership in Pekanbaru, thank you very much for your help," he said.
