PATI (9 September 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through the Margo Laras Disability Center in Pati carried out family-based ATENSI by evacuating and referring persons with mental disabilities to Prof Dr. RSJ. Soerojo Magelang (9/9).

Suwarti's beneficiary suffers from severe depression to hallucinations which causes him to wander around disturbing the surrounding community. When she leaves her house she forgets her way home. Suwarti is a beneficiary of family-based ATENSI activities which are a priority to get medical rehabilitation.

Previously, the Margo Laras Team fulfilled the civil rights of citizenship such as ID cards and BPJS first, then evacuated referrals as an effort to restore unstable mental conditions.

"Since 2000, my mother has dreamed of becoming a migrant worker working in Singapore, to meet the family's daily needs, but what's the problem, my mother was deported back to her homeland without severance pay, so this condition made her depressed until In 2010 we had referred to Amino Gondo Hutomo Hospital Semarang, after hospitalization the condition was good but reluctant to take medicine and did not want to control, the symptoms that appeared were laughing alone, angry, if leaving the house going far, forgetting the way home, disturbing residents, "said Suwarti’s son, Ryan (39th).

"I am very grateful for Margo Laras Center for helping me reconcile my mother, I hope she recovers quickly," Ryan concluded.

During the evacuation, the Margo Laras team collaborated with the Gabus Health Center for injection, and also coordinated with the village. During the trip, Suwarti seemed cooperative without a fight and received intensive care at Wisma Sinta.

"The beneficiaries were cooperative when they were invited to the hospital with motivation, when the antigen swab also did not show any resistance, as soon as the results were negative, we immediately went to Magelang Hospital". said Triwidodo, Junior Social Worker from Margo Laras Center.
