TERNATE (13 August 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through Social Rehabilitation Center “Wasana Bahagia” in Ternate provides family-based Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) services to grandfathers with physical disabilities.

Starting from community reports, Wasana Bahagia in Ternate conducted an assessment of Abdul Fataha (65), a resident of Koloncucu Village, Ternate City. Grandpa Fa has been paralyzed by a stroke since 2007. He lives with his children and granddaughter. Grandpa Fa could only sit on the bed every day. He was sad because he could no longer carry out his activities as the marbot of the mosque.

Located at Grandpa Fa's home, Wasana Bahagia in Ternate provided ATENSI assistance to grandfather Fa in the form of wheelchairs and special diapers for the elderly.

The assistance was handed over by the Head of the Center, Udan Suheli. Grandpa Fa Udan hopes that the wheelchair he received will be useful. "Keep the spirit, Grandpa Fa, can sometimes sunbathe in his wheelchair," said Udan.

While crying, grandfather Fa expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Social Affairs, "Thanks for dofu-dofu (read: thank you very much), we want to be able to pray at the old mosque".

Following the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Tri Rismaharani, the response to the case against the Fa suffocation is a form of multifunctional implementation by Wasana Bahagia Center in Ternate.
