BOYOLALI (3 February 2022) - Ministry of Social Affairs presents in the community through Social Rehabilitation Center “Prof. Dr. Soeharso” Surakarta by responding to news about babies born without bladder and bowel channels.

Based on online news, the baby is named Ardana Abi Putra (13 days old) who is being treated at the Pandanarang Hospital in Boyolali. Soeharso Center Surakarta sent a case response team and coordinated with the Boyolali Regency Social Office and was accepted by the Head of Social Rehabilitation, Mudzakir.

Accompanied by the Head of Social Rehabilitation, the team headed to the hospital where baby Ardana was being treated. The team and the Head of Social Rehabilitation are welcome to see the condition of baby Ardana in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) room and still in the incubator.

According to the nurse who took care of Ardana that his condition had started to improve compared to a few days ago when Ardana was able to urinate (BAK) because there was a hole where the dirt mixed with his urine could seep. Now Ardana's stomach is not hard anymore because his pee is smooth.

Ardana Abi Putra was born in normal condition with a weight of 3.2 kg and a body length of 50 cm. Ardana is the second child of the couple Triyono and Nanik Rahayu with the address Dusun Sembung, RT. 003 RW. 006 Canden Village, Sambi District, Boyolali Regency.

Triyono's job is to sell trumpets, balls, dolls, raffia strings, and so on around using a motorbike and his average daily income is only to meet his daily needs, while Nanik Rahayu is a housewife. Since Ardana was hospitalized, Triyono never sold again because he took care of Ardana. For treatment costs, Ardana still uses BPJS Mandiri.

According to the results of the assessment, the Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) support will be provided by the Ministry of Social Affairs to Ardana Abi Putra in the form of diapers, and various baby hygiene equipment such as bath soap, telon oil, and clothes. Both of Ardana's parents were assisted in the form of necessities, namely rice, sugar, oil, tea, canned cakes.

The case response team motivated Ardana's parents to be patient and always pray that their son will be given health and the surgery will run smoothly. The team also suggested that Triyono keep selling because while Ardana was being cared for, there was already someone accompanying him, both his wife and a nurse who always took care of him.

The handover of ATENSI support was carried out at the Boyolali Regency Social Office and was attended by the Head of the Social Rehabilitation Division, TKSK Sambi Boyolali, and the father of Ardana. The handover was carried out symbolically by the case response team and the Head of Social Rehabilitation. The nominal assistance amounted to Rp. 493,550,- in the form of baby needs and necessities.

According to Mudzakir, for Boyolali Regency there is Social Health Assistance whose budget comes from the APBD. Social assistance is intended for the poor, while the assistance is a maximum of Rp. 15,000,000, -, to obtain the social assistance provided that the person concerned submits an application to the village on the condition that he is poor and does not have health insurance.

After completing the treatment period at Pandanarang Hospital which will end on February 11, 2022, Ardana may be referred to a hospital with more complete equipment for surgery on his bowel opening. During his treatment at Pandanarang Hospital, he was financed independently and with assistance from the Social Security Agency of Boyolali Regency.

Ardana's BPJS Kesehatan is being processed to prepare to be referred to another hospital, considering that the surgery costs are quite expensive.
