PATI (15 February 2022) – The Ministry of Social Affairs through Social Rehabilitation Center “Margo Laras” Pati in collaboration with the Department of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) of Pati Regency recorded population data for 15 residential beneficiaries of Margo Laras Center Pati, Monday (14/2).

The recording of the E-KTP was carried out in Margo Laras Center Pati. This activity is a form of ATENSI service in the form of accessibility support in obtaining civil rights of citizens, given that mental disabilities have the same rights as other Indonesian citizens to civil rights to be registered as citizens and have a Population Identification Number (NIK).

By having an E-KTP, Persons with Mental Disabilities will be recorded in the Social Welfare Integrated Data (DTKS), so that they can access assistance from the government that is intended for them.

In addition, ID cards are also used for the process of administering BPJS health and participating in the vaccination program currently being launched by the government.

All beneficiaries were very cooperative in going through the E-KTP recording process, starting from biometric tests, checking irises, to fingerprints. The E-KTP recording process is also carried out by implementing a health protocol to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

"Accessibility support for making E-KTP is a form of commitment with the government in fulfilling civil rights for persons with disabilities, in the previous year, 100 recipients of the Liponsos (Social Housing Complex) referral Beneficiary had also been recorded with E-KTPs and were successfully traced and re-reunified to their families, hopefully, 15 beneficiaries have been recorded. The e-KTP also has a more stable mental health development and returns to the family," said Jiwaningsih.
