BANJARBARU (August 5, 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through Social Rehabilitation Center Budi Luhur Banjarbaru established a Public Kitchen to cook nutritional intake for Health Workers in Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan, who until now have been struggling to provide health services for Covid-19 patients.

 

Head of Budi Luhur Banjarbaru Herry Pawoko explained that this public kitchen was established following the instructions of the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini regarding efforts to fulfill nutrition for health workers who are struggling to provide health services for Covid-19 patients.

 

"As for the nutritional intake that we provided for the past 3 days to health workers in the form of 4,500 boiled eggs and today we gave 800 boxes of boxed rice, which contains rice, side dishes, and fruit," he said.

 

As many as 800 rice boxes were distributed to medical personnel in Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan, namely Idaman Banjarbaru Hospital, Kartini Banjarbaru Hospital, Guntung Payung Health Center, Landasan Ulin Health Center, North Banjarbaru Health Center and East Landasan Ulin Health Center.

 

Doctor Siti, one of the medical personnel on duty at the Idaman Hospital Banjarbaru, is very grateful for the efforts of the Ministry of Social Affairs to provide nutrition to health workers who are struggling to treat patients confirmed Covid-19.

 

"Hopefully all our efforts can help health workers who are struggling to provide health services for Covid-19 patients," she said.
