BEKASI (13 August 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through the Bekasi "Pangudi Luhur" Center collaborated with the Karang Kitri Health Center in Bekasi City to administer the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccination. This was following the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini, to be able to access beneficiaries for health services, such as the Covid-19 vaccination program. It also referred to the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 10 of 2021 on Implementation of Vaccination in the Context of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Pandemic Management.

This activity took place at Aneka Bakti Building II of the Ministry of Social Affairs on Wednesday, August 13, 2021. There were some experts from health centres such as doctors and nurses. Meanwhile, the implementation of the first dose of vaccination had been carried out beforehand on July 15, 2021.

Yulianto as the Head of Neighbourhood 02/21 of Margahayu conveyed his support in administering the vaccination. "We strongly support the government's efforts to provide vaccinations for all Indonesian citizens, especially Margahayu residents. It is an effort to deal with the Covid-19 outbreak. However, we must remain vigilant and carry out health protocols in daily activities even though we have had the second dose of vaccine,” he said.

"Participating in the success of the national program such as the Covid-19 vaccination is brilliant. It is because the purpose of the vaccine is to maintain our health. Consequently, we don't get infected and infect other people. Vaccines trigger an immune response within the body. When the virus enters our body, we are ready to fight it because we have recognized this virus through the vaccine,” said Edi, one of the beneficiaries who participated in the vaccination program.

If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. Let’s get vaccinated and be stronger together.
