MATARAM (September 16, 2021) - The “Paramita” Center
received a visit from the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and
Culture. The visit was carried out to protect Indonesian Migrant
Workers who had been repatriated as Deportants from Malaysia, of which 51
people came from the Province of West Nusa Tenggara and one of them received
empowerment at the Social Rehabilitation Center "Paramita" by
becoming a handicraft instructor.
A total of 14 people
attended this visit, namely the Assistant Deputy for the Fulfillment of Rights,
Protection and Empowerment of Women at the Coordinating Ministry for Human
Development and Culture, the Director for the Placement and Protection of
Overseas Workers (PTKLN) of the Directorate General of Manpower Placement
Development (Binapenta) and PKK of the Ministry of Manpower, Assistant Deputy
for Protection of Women Rights and Trafficking in Persons, Ministry of Women's
Empowerment and Child Protection, Coordinator of Social Rehabilitation for
Victims of Trafficking in Persons, Ministry of Social Affairs, Director of
Protection and Supervision for the Asian and African Regions, Indonesian
Migrant Worker Placement Agency (BP2MI), Head of the Manpower Office of West
Nusa Tenggara Province, were also present during the visit the Head of BP2MI of
West Nusa Tenggara Province.
In addition to visiting
to carry out protection efforts for Indonesian Troubled Migrant Workers (PMIB)
who have been repatriated, the guest group also visited the ATENSI Creation
Center (SKA) "Paramita" which is well known to the public. The group
also had the opportunity to see the innovations in Paramita.
The activity was carried
out in the "Paramita" Center Public Service Room and started at 15:10
WITA. Ketut Supena in his speech said “It is an honor Balai Paramita Center to
receive a visit from the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and
Culture and their staff. It is positive energy for us to be able to
demonstrate the implementation of Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) at Paramita
Center, one of which we can see the work and innovations of Beneficiaries that
have economic value and can compete in the market.” Supena said.
