JAKARTA (December 12, 2024) - Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul) appreciated the role of International Non-Government Organizations (INGOs) in supporting the Ministry of Social Affairs in realizing the welfare of the Indonesian people.
In a meeting with six INGOs at the Ministry of Social Affairs Office, Gus Ipul expressed the importance of collaboration in solving various social problems, such as providing employment, fulfilling basic needs, and protecting children and women.
Several INGOs such as the Aids Healthcare Foundation (AHF), Oxfam, and Childfund International have collaborated with the Ministry of Social Affairs for decades, especially in the areas of economic empowerment, strengthening the role of women, and equality for people with disabilities.
Gus Ipul also expressed his support for the ongoing collaboration with INGOs, which is regulated through the Foreign Community Organization Licensing Team (TPOA) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
