Poltekesos Prepares Implementation of 6th Semester Student Practicum

BANDUNG (29 January 2021) - Laboratory Practicum Briefing for Applied Undergraduate Social Rehabilitation Study Program for Sixth Semester Students Class of 2018 was opened virtually by the Director of the Bandung Poltekesos, Marjuki, on Thursday afternoon, January 28, 2021.

In this briefing, students get material on policies and programs of Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) from the resource person, Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Ministry of Social RI, Harry Hikmat.

The ATENSI program is a service that uses a family, community and residential-based approach through 7 activity components, namely support for the fulfillment of a decent life, social care and / or care, family support, therapy (physical, mental, spiritual, psychosocial), vocational and entrepreneurial training. , social assistance and assistance and accessibility support.

In addition, in this briefing, students also received an explanation of the technical implementation, substance, administration and practical guidance delivered by the Head of the Social Rehabilitation Study Program, Moch. Zaenal Hakim and Head of Social Rehabilitation Study Program Laboratory, Rini Hartini Rinda.

Also attending this activity were lecturers of the Social Rehabilitation Study Program as well as practitioners and academics in the fields of work in the fields of social work and social rehabilitation including Soni A. Nulhaqim, Susiladiharti and Tata Sudrajat.

The Laboratory Practicum for Social Rehabilitation Study Program is held concurrently where students continue to attend lectures for two days on Monday and Tuesday, then continued with practicum on Wednesday to Saturday.

The practicum implementation is also adjusted to the 4 profiles of Social Rehabilitation Study Program graduates, namely Social Rehabilitation Executor, Social Rehabilitation Counselor, Social Rehabilitation Program Manager and Social Rehabilitation Analyst.

Given the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic, students will take part in a practicum for 3 weeks for each graduate profile where students will get practicum material online from their supervisor for 2 weeks then carry out practice for 1 week at LKS in the domicile area, but if does not allow students to practice in the environment around the house.

Laboratory Practicum for Social Rehabilitation Study Program will be implemented from February 3 to April 23, 2021.
