YOGYAKARTA (October 22nd, 2019) - The Directorate of Poverty Handling Region I (Directorate of PFM Region I) organized Guidance and Consolidation of Social Assistance at a hotel in Yogyakarta (10/22).

The theme raised in this activity was "Assistance and Control Producing the distribution of Food social assistance with the 6T Principle" with a total of 373 participants, consisting of 11 Provincial Head of Social Services Agency, 181 Regency / City Supervisors, Coordinator of Social Welfare Workers (KORTEKS) 181 people.

The activity was officially opened by the Director General of PFM, Andi ZA Dulung. In his direction, he said that this activity was expected to make the PFM program even better, especially in the distribution of National Counter Terrorism Agency (BPNT).

"In 2020, social assistance provided to the Beneficiary Families (KPM) which was originally Rp110,000 per family will increase to Rp150,000 per family. For this reason, he said that quality in the distribution of social assistance must also be better, "said Andi.

In addition, he said that the important role of Social facilitator was that KPM could graduate after one to three years of receiving assistance. One of them is by empowering KPM through programs that have been implemented.

"Stalls in the Joint Business Group (KUBE) must survive and succeed. In West Java, I see that KUBE has a high potential for success, "Andi explained.

Furthermore, Andi also explained about KPM data. In the future data coordination with local urban village needs to be maintained so that the implementation is less likely for error data.

"At present every two to three months the data is continuously updated and corrected, especially data that does not appear in the NIK," Andi explained.

Related to this, Andi also said that the names of recipients of social assistance to be posted in local villages. According to him, this will be a control and evaluation for the community itself.

"So the community knows the names of those who get assistance or not. If there is a conflict of opinion from these names, a village meeting can be held, so there is no need to be stirred up every time there is a distribution of aid," Andi explained.

Previously, the Director of Poverty Handling Region I, Mr. A. M Asnandar conveyed his report in the activity, that this activity was aimed at helping Social Facilitator participants to understand, monitor, evaluate and make a report on the implementation of Food Social Assistance properly and correctly in their respective regions.
