Protect Disability from Covid-19, "Nipotowe" Center Limits Services
SIGI (July 27, 2021) - The implementation of Public Activity Restrictions (PPKM) has an impact on the implementation of public services for Social Welfare Service for Persons in Need (PPKS) at Nipotowe Center in Palu. "We will limit services first so that no beneficiaries are exposed to COVID-19 at the Center," said Head of Nipotowe Center, Syaiful Samad, during a routine rapid antigen swab test at Nipotowe Center.
Following the direction of the Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini, frequent tests and activity restrictions are prevention and tracing efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19. "Apart from routine check-ups, every time an employee or beneficiary has symptoms, a rapid antigen swab test is immediately carried out, including with their family," said Syaiful Samad.

"There is no need to wait for the schedule. If an employee is confirmed positive for COVID-19, we will trace all employees and carry out a mass swab," said Syaiful.
The Head of the Nipotowe Center continually reminds all beneficiaries, employees, and their families to always comply with health protocols and not carry out outside activities that involve many people.
"Let's take care of the health of each of us, our families, and the people around us," said Syaiful.
