MATARAM (23 November 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through the Education, Research and Social Counseling Agency (BP3S) together with members of Commission VIII of the House of Representatives held a working visit at the Gde Pudja Mataram State Hindu Institute (IAHN). The group, led by the team leader, Rachmat Hidayat, was warmly welcomed by the Chancellor of IAHN, Dr. Ir. I Wayan Wirata, along with the entire rectorate.

 

A working visit from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Commission VIII of the House to IAHN, related to improving the quality of religious universities and social empowerment.

 

Head of Commission VIII of the House, Rachmat Hidayat reminded that if this university is considered as a single group, then it must be united.

 

"When we manage an institution, we must be cohesive, automatically the results will be good, we must be able to implement the Tri Dharma of higher education, later it will be downstream to the social community," explained Rachmat on Tuesday (23/11).

 

Rachmat Hidayat also advised making this IAHN a spring and a source of life for the people of Indonesia.

 

On the same occasion, the Head of BP3S Hartono Laras said that education is one of the main factors and sources for the progress and development of the country.

 

"I think quality education is one of the main factors and sources for the progress and development of the country. Of course, quality improvement is also balanced, because that is also the most basic thing in the education process," said the Head of BP3S.

 

On the same occasion, Commission VIII also received many aspirations from the IAHN rectorate, especially related to improving the quality of religious universities and social empowerment.
